It is possible to download to your store images in mass for this we must use a FTP client software.
1 - Download an FTP client and install it on your computer
If you do not know where, do FileZilla has proven and is easy to use, you can Download here
The access codes were sent to you when you open your account, once logged in the root directory of the catalog images can be found at this location: /image_media/image/CatShop_img (right window of FileZilla).
You can also create a separate FTP account to upload images directly in the correct directory catalog, the result is the same but it may be more practical.
To do this when creating the FTP account, you must create name (login) with an extension after the _ eg imgcat and select the directory / image_media / image / CatShop_img, and when the FTP connection you will be directly in the right directory for the images in the catalog.
Using FileZilla
Run (Open) FileZilla on your computer and enter the address you stated in your admin panel.

If you create directories (folders) you will recognize them in the window "Remote Site" put you in the desired directory.

The images of the catalog can be found in the directory (right window): /image_media/image/CatShop_img
If you upload images into that directory (or subdirectory of CatShop_img), they will be available when inserting products in the administration of your shop. |
How to load a file from your computer to your shop.
Click on the desired file in the left pane (local site), while holding the button down, move the cursor to the right window (remote site) and release the mouse button (it's a Drag drop).
The same can be done in the right window to the left window, the file is located on the server is repatriated on your computer.
How to send multiple files at once
1 - Click on a file (only 1 click)
Warning
The image names must not contain spaces or special characters (accents etc..). If necessary remplcer spaces with - or _
2 - Press the Shift key on your keyboard and hold down
3 - click on another file, you can also use the up and down arrows on your keyboard.

All files between the "2 files" are selected.
4 - Drag and drop to the right window (remote site), and all the selected files will be loaded on the server .
The reverse operation (the server to your computer) is of course possible.
